The District’s 10-Year Plan clearly demonstrates the need for safety improvements and academic upgrades to existing schools, classrooms and labs.
We also need a high school in Castaic to reduce crowding at existing schools – and Measure SA guarantees it will be built once a site is identified.
Even our opponents recognize the need for a bond measure to fund vital school improvements – so what are they opposing? Many people have been frustrated about the Castaic situation, but it’s time to move forward constructively.
Our mutual focus should be about safety and academic upgrades to improve schools and achieve student success. Measure SA will allow local schools to capture additional state funding to meet these goals.
